The Route to Infinity (May 1952) 7 lectures.
Also known as The Technique 80 Lectures, this series a crucial discovery made by LRH: the ability of a person to make a decision. An inability to do that leaves a person in a state of maybe, which deteriorates one's ability and sanity. These lectures take apart the anatomy of "maybe" from the viewpoint of one's decisions, as Shakespeare put it, to be or not to be.
Technique 80 preceded Technique 88 as described in Scientology: A History of Man and are fundamental to its understanding.

Yes, this is a brilliant lecture series. LRH focuses on teaching one technique in its entirety, introducing the vital importance of decision while discusssing such things as wavelengths and ARC which link to the following lecture series. Technique 80 includes going out on each dynamic; beginning with being fully alive in each part of one's own body then extending beyond it. In going out on the dynamics, you don't become them - they become you. In this way, Technique 80 is the exact opposite of mysticism.
LRH's discussion of overts and dependencies is enlightening, too. Just what would be an overt on the 4th or 8th dynamics?

This 7 hour series of lectures is my all time favorite of everything I've ever heard in my entire life! It presents some of the most powerful and useful technology in all of Scientology: Technique 80. (ARC + Tone Scale applied on all Dynamics). Once learned, it can be safely and easily applied by yourself to any part of your body for immediate relief of pain or discomfort.
Cons
This is NOT the best place to start your exploration of Scientology, however. This lecture series is a kind of capstone and it assumes that you are familiar with the information presented in: Dianetics & Science of Survival, especially including the ARC triangle and the Emotional Tone Scale.
