The foundation of that route was and remains communication, which is the focus of Dianetics 55! Ron gives the complete anatomy of communicaton as well as the formulas for good communication. The fundamental principle behind the workability of auditing or any therapy is good communication, hence the importance given to it in Dianetics and Scientology. To emphasize this book's importance he named it the Second Book of Dianetics.

I was drawn to this book because I have a strong desire to complete the Academy Levels where this book is a prominent reference guide especially on the Pro TR's course and on Level 0. I did not expect it to be so packed with such fundamental, impactful, and applicable OT data. Life IS communication. What is a static? What are its abilities? How does lack of communication entrap a being?
While reading this book I realized that to the extent I would not originate communication in an area of my life, that I was enslaved in that area with barriers only I was erecting. The following day I began opening communication in those areas and found things moving forward and that others were simply waiting on me. One doesn't even have to know specifically what he/she wants to say. The most important thing is to simply unstick the flow.
There were many, many more wins as well. I hope you read this book too so that you can have many of your own.

Pros
This book is the definitive explanation of COMMUNICATION. The simplicity and power of the information contained in this book is shocking. I found this book to be FUN because it is presented at a noticeably higher level than the other books whose titles start with "Dianetics".
Cons
This book strikes with a jolting force. It is definitely important to read carefully and have had a basic primer of studying technology. Many of the words that you would recognize as common are used in this book with more complex meanings and more intensity than I had experienced before. (If you get a head ache or start yawning while reading it, go back, and find the sentence and the word that didn't make sense.)
