It's been a while but it's a grounding course and very useful to anyone in an executive role. If I remember correctly it was originally laid out to help bring those who had done the full Organization Executive Course (OEC) volumes back to earth with important immediate focus and applications. Turns out it works for anyone in this capacity providing tools to immediately improve their role and effectiveness.

As far as being applicable outside a Scientology environment, all things Scientology are applicable to other business or other life situations if you can think past literalness.

Short but sweet

Not so useful if you are execing in a non-Scn work environment.

Pros and Cons (optional)

Pros
I did the course in the 80s when I was a CofS exec, and found it included the bare basics of being an exec in a Scientology admin-oriented environment. It is a short course, from memory about 5 days part-time, and much easier to get people through than sometimes-lengthy post hats.

Back in 1984 I was thrown into a difficult business situation. Although I had studied quite a bit of administrative technology by that time, I needed a quick fix to assist me with the business situation. Exec Status One was perfect for that use. I learned simple effective tools which could be applied not only to the business but in life itself. If I (or anyone) was interested in achieving full executive training, it would be a good idea to follow Exec Status One with Exec Status Two. But, as a quick fix for my particular situation, Exec Status One was perfect.

I did this course back in 1985 or so. Good course — taught me the basics of being an executive. Before that I had no interest in being an administrator. I wanted to be a tech guy. I think I don't use the tech as much as I could today, which leads me to think maybe the drills and practical had taken the subject into more depth so you really appreciated what you were getting.

Pros and Cons (optional)

Pros
Smooth gradient throughout the course. Easy to understand and follow. Useful data that it teaches.
Cons
I think it could have been a bit deeper. It's just like, "here's this tool and here's this tool and here's this tool" so sometimes I think I did not really get the importance of each tool.
