TRs and Objectives is done to help a person raise their general ability to confront and to get a person more into present time. This is normally done as a co-audit in which two people take turns each getting the other person through.

As a Snr CS I only have my pcs do the TRs and Objectives Co-audit versusing pay for them to be delivered to them only. That eliminates most of the gain I've seen obtained in this step of the gradual steps upward. I want to add that very few Scientologists even understand just how advanced these processes are. LRH came up with these processes during research in to upper OT level case. I get goosebumps when I think about how advanced this tech is and yet can be run on a case that hasn't come any where near the level of OT progress from which these processes came.

Pros
Objectives Processing was one of those actions that provided me with some of the most surprising results. I was pretty green to Scientology when I did it and so didn’t know then what I later learned when I studied in depth the theory behind these incredibly powerful processes that came from advanced research the LRH did a few years after the first book, Dianetics, was published. Though it is not the purpose of the Objectives to exteriorize a person that is what happened to me. I looked down at my body and saw myself and my auditor and suddenly started laughing which immediately ended this perspective. So I stopped laughing and “did” it again and again. Though I could do it and maintain it knowingly as a state I knew I COULD do it and it was the first time I was consciously aware of being able to perceive from another location other than where my body was. It was the first experience in Scientology where I had subjective awareness of NOT being my body. The Objectives immediately followed my Purification Rundown which was an effective reorientation for me to confront the world newly after having removed effects of drugs from my body. I highly, highly recommend doing the Objectives Co-audit. There results of only receiving them do just not compare to the balance of both giving and receiving them.
Cons
Nope.

I did this course together with another person. This is a basic and easy but nevertheless very effective course/auditing action. I learned how to audit, and was enjoying together with my twin our improvement. At the beginning it is not quite clear, that so much repetitive physical action can result in emotional well-being and mental improvement. But when I had completed the course, I could comprehend why and appreciated it very much.

I sup'd students on this in the early 90s. At the time I thought it was a pretty damn good course, that didn't have a whole lot of theory but had them do TRs 0-9, little bits of auditing and process theory, and then lots of auditing, both giving and receiving. They ended up getting about 100 hours of auditing each, with minimal interference necessary from the sup or a review auditor beyond checking for end phenomena.
